Phaser Charging Module
Based on a patented IC Intelligent Battery Charger Chip and a nickel metal hydride battery pack, operators can fully charge their equipment in less than three hours. This charge is good for more than 16 hours of continuous play. The NiMH battery pack has distinct advantages over the NiCd including 30% more capacity, almost no memory effect, and because of its low toxic metal content, is labeled as “environmentally friendly.”
All charging circuitry is located inside the charging module with colored, diagnostic LED’s to indicate the charge status of each vest.

Electronics

The electronics in the Battle Phaser and fiber-optic Battle Vest were designed with materials and construction similar to those used in demanding military and industrial applications. In fact, the electronics in the Battle Phaser, Battle Vest, and Phaser Charging Module are built to the same specifications as a military jet guidance system.
The latest in surface mount integrated circuit technology and multi-layer high density printed circuit boards guarantees dependable, worry free operation. Built-in test modes and simple diagnostic lamps ensure that site staff, with very basic training are able to trouble shoot. Sophisticated, durable, yet easy to operate and service.

LAZER RUNNER Central Processing Unit (LRCPU)
The LAZER RUNNER Central Processing Unit programs and accounts for every game played in an unlimited number of game scenarios. Team, Individual and Group play are easily programmed at the customers request with the use of a touch screen monitor. The LRCPU allows you to program the standard games included with the system, by modifying the time, the number of shots, the number of lives, vest color, and handicapping.
Themed games can also be created by the operator. This increases players’ interest and initiates theme game nights. The possibilities are endless!
Most importantly, the LRCPU is easy to understand, efficient to operate, and is totally tamperproof, with password security for cross referencing the revenues collected.

Battle Phaser
The ergonomically designed Battle Phaser is lightweight, safe and durable. The Battle Phaser is manufactured with a super tough polymer plastic which can sustain a drop of over 6 feet. When in operation, the Battle Phaser has a unique two-stage switch allowing the player to aim before firing, creating great special effects!
With a built-in alphanumeric dot matrix display, the player has the capability to observe the time, shots, and lives remaining during the game, as well as their personal score at the end of the game for quick comparison. The display also indicates the software version, the player number, and current channel selection for RF transmission.
The laser beam is generated from a solid state laser diode for greater accuracy, long life, and safe operation.
The new LAZER RUNNER sound effects will blow you away! The Battle Phasers now include “good shot” recognition, target lock-on sounds, and an empty chamber sound when ammunition is used up. Talk about interactive!

Battle Vest
The Battle Vest now has the most advanced features available. It is designed to fit comfortably and buckle up in the front. Every Battle Vest houses efficient fiber optics to register a hit, instead of traditional high maintenance, bulky receivers that are prone to breakage. The vest skin is urban camouflage and here’s the best part! YOU PROGRAM THE TEAM COLOR!
The Battle Vest receiver is activated by state-of-the-art fiber optic panels located on the front, shoulders and back of the vest. According to the operator’s program, the fibers will glow RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW, PURPLE or ORANGE, when active and turn off for five seconds when hit. There is no need to recharge after every hit, making the game move more quickly. With multiple team capability, LAZER RUNNER leads the way in interactive Laser Tag technology.

Individual/Group/Team Scoring System
The LAZER RUNNER scoring system is flexible to accommodate any situation that arises. Traditional Team Scoring allows players from two to four opposing sides to engage in a battle to deactivate the enemy Home Base Station.
Our very popular and unique Individual Scoring system allows players to join in a game already in progress. Turnover is continuous, constantly evolving and action packed. There is no need to wait around for large groups. LAZER RUNNER’s “Continuous Turnover” scoring feature packs more dollars into your prime time hours. It allows you to make the same income with our 12 player system as most traditional laser games generate with 20 players!
Group Scoring allows several games to be played at the same time! How do you allow your regular customers to play in the Battle Station and simultaneously use it for several birthday parties as well? Our “game within-a-game” feature solves the problem and doubles up on the cash generated! It’s a real winner! We developed this feature from a practical, everyday, operator’s point of view! It’s FANTASTIC and exclusive to the LAZER RUNNER System!

Lazer Runner Score Tracker

LAZER RUNNER’S Score Tracker System allows players and spectators to view individual players scores, their status, and identifies what player’s have hit another player for any current game. The Score Tracker System can also display Team Scores when in Team Play mode. all this data is supplied in Real Time ~ as it happens! In order to activate your Score Tracker System, all you need is any regular television monitor and a PC to TV Converter. Connect these to your LRCPU unit and it’s ready to go!
Typically, monitors are positioned in the lobby area, near each Team Home Base or in the center of the arena.
The LAZER RUNNER Score Tracker is a hugely popular scoring feature exclusive to LAZER RUNNER!

LAZER RUNNER Score Printer
LAZER RUNNER’s new score printing system offers all the statistics players are looking for. The score cards are visually stunning and easy to read. Operators have the option of using up to four printers on this system, speeding up the scorecard distribution. Since the LAZER RUNNER scoring system is performed in REAL TIME, the scorecards are printed immediately upon the games’ end. This means players are handed their scorecards when exiting the arena, allowing instant score comparisons with opponents. The LAZER RUNNER Printer also records the five top scores to date with the players actual name and score entered into the system.
Included on the back of each scorecard is a space provided for coupons or advertising.
The operator can select three different modes of scoring depending on the type of games being played; Team, Individual, Group or choose from the menu one of many game options available.

Safety

LAZER RUNNER’s commitment to safety is taken very seriously. All LAZER RUNNER equipment and peripherals are manufactured to CSA and NRTC standards. The Phaser / Vest schematics and all appropriate reports are submitted to the Office of Compliance at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health, a Mandatory Procedure required by the US Department of Health and Human Services. LAZER RUNNER lasers comply with all applicable sections of FDA regulations, specifically (21 CFR 1040.10).

Cash Control System
At the end of the day, simply press the touch screen monitor in the desired location. The LRCPU will then display the number of games played by all Battle Phasers upon entering a password. This system is totally tamperproof and provides a simple and effective way of “double checking” the number of games played with the revenue collected.

Sentry Pods
Programmable Sentry Pods guard against approaching enemies by detecting their presence. Given a 3 second warning count to evacuate, the player must shoot the Sentry Pod to deactivate it, or be fired upon by a cluster of low frequency bursts.
